Whale Done

Whaledone 6 10 2020

Whale Done card using the "Whale of a Time" Suite P. 94-96 of the New 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Catalog! Effective June 3, 2020 to May 3, 2021. This is a very simple card to make. It has a lot of "WOW" factor. And just a little bit of bling. It is all about the bling!

Card base: Shaded Spruce cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Folded in half at 4/-1/4.

Using the Seabed embossing folder, place the card front in the Seabed embossing folder in a portrait position and run through your die cutting/embossing machine.

Using the Whale of a Time 6"x 6" DSP. Choose the paper with the seaweed view. Cut to 3" x 4-1/4".

Place the long side in your paper trimmer and cut off 1/4". Then slide it in and cut off 3/4". Now you have 3 pieces.

Place dimensionals on the back of each piece. I used 2 on the small pieces and 4 on the large piece.

Place each piece so that the sheet is centered, leaving a small gap between each piece.

Next, using the Memento Black ink pad, I stamped the image of the Whale on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. Punched him out with the Whale Builder Punch. I also, added some Wink of Stella to make him sparkle. I added a dimensional on the back and placed him in the upper right of the DSP.

I then stamped the turtle image on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Shaded Spruce ink pad. I added some Wink of Stella before I fussy cut the turtle. I put a dimentional on the back of the turtle and place him on the lower left side of card.

Next, the "Whale Done" greeting was stamped on Whisper white card stock using the Shaded Spruce ink pad. I also, stamped off the splotch image using Pool Party ink pad. Then punched it out using the 1-1/2" circle punch. I placed 2 dimensionals behind it and place it in the upper left corner.
